Concept of changes to the functional system of an air navigation service provider

Under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373 applicable from 2 January 2020, the French civil aviation Authority (DSAC) wishes to promote a common understanding of certain key concepts with the air navigation providers it supervises.

To this end, as civil aviation technical centre of the French civil aviation authority, STAC, in agreement with DSAC, prepares technical notes, each addressing a particular theme.

This note deals with the concept of changes of the functional system and more particularly the elements leading to their notification to the authority.
