Passengers and cabin baggage screening

Security checkpoints are deployed, prior to the bording of passengers, in the aim to prevent the introduction of illicit objects onboard of aircraft through passengers of their cabin baggage.

The layout of security checkpoints for passenger and cabine baggage is regulated by the interministrial arrêté of septembre 2013 related to the security measures for civil aviation.

The security of air transport is defined therefore as a combination of measures, equipment and human resources in order to prevent acts of unlawful interference.
